Television Producer & Talent Manager
Stella Bulochnikov is a Golden Globe nominated television producer and talent manager credited for launching the Celebreality franchise and kick starting a global reality television movement. She is known for her ability to tap into the zeitgeist and create and package scripted and unscripted shows around top talent that move the cultural conversation.
Stella Bulochnikov most recently exclusively managed the career of musical artist Mariah Carey and through their joint venture, Magic Carpet Productions, set up several high profile producing deals including a three picture animation deal with Universal (first project to come out of that deal was “All I Want for Christmas is You” for Amazon Prime); a three picture deal with Hallmark Channel as well as a Christmas special titled “The Christmas Keys with DJ Khaled” for YouTube Red. Magic Carpet is also attached to produce a drama series sold to Warner Brothers and Starz loosely based on the artist’s life. Bulochnikov also set up Carey’s first European tour in over a decade with Live Nation, which spanned Europe, Eastern Europe and South Africa and sold it to E! Entertainment as an 8-part event airing in over 100 countries, also executive produced through their banner.
Prior to managing Carey exclusively, Stella Bulochnikov had a scripted overall deal with LIONSGATE where she enjoyed tremendous success dating back to 2008. At LIONSGATE, she was both an executive producer and partner with Kelsey Grammer at GRAMMNET Productions. Bulochnikov and Grammer served as executive producers on the 10/90 comedy “Partners” for FX, starring Kelsey Grammer and Martin Lawrence. Stella was not only instrumental in packaging the show, but also introducing Kelsey Grammer to the concept. Previously, Bulochnikov packaged the critically acclaimed one hour drama for Lionsgate and Starz titled “BOSS” which she and GRAMMER both executive produced with creator Farhad Safinia and director Gus Van Sant. This project garnered a Golden Globe nomination for best television drama as well as a Golden Globe win for Kelsey Grammer as best dramatic actor, his first in the category, conquering a new medium for the incredibly talented comedic star. Just recently, Bulochnikov and Grammer partnered on another television series titled “Light as a Feather” which has been given a straight to series order on Hulu, slated to premiere in 2019.
